Hello! Using version 11 Professional, April build. I was trying to import a couple of strings from an Excel file and same translations are imported for different source text, eg English words Add SMS, sec, No access, Select action get the same translation in Danish. What can be done about it?

Hello lakuda,
the source text must match. A translation can be imported only when the source text in the Excel table and the source text in the translation project is the same.

Yes, but now it works in the wrong way. Source texts are different but translations imported are the same. What can the reason of this be?

. ? -- I do not know your Excel document -- I do not know the content. I think your Excel table may not have a column with the IDs/names of an item and/or your try to import without item identifier (?).
Has your Excel table only two columns? Columns with source and target text only?
When you iniitially export an Excel document for translation then export also columns with: - "Main resource ID/name" - "Resource name/ID" - "Source file name".
The Excel import/export is made for external translation of an Excel table exported once before by RC-WinTrans -- exported with ID/name columns.
The name of an item (and the file name) ensures the translation can be assigned uniquely to the item in the project when importing from the Excel file.
If you want, send me your Excel file/table so I can have a look at. -> support@schaudin.com
