Hello Blade_tm,

check if the .NET Framework 2.0 is aktivated (Windows feature on) on your Windows system.

For Windows 8 ( may the same on Windows 10 ?!):
-------------------
"Control Panel" | "Programs" | "Programs and Features" | "Turn Windows features on or off"
Check/Enable ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)"

Hi,
I run v9.0.74 on Win 10 Pro without problems.
.NET Framework 3.5 is installed.
Have you tried to start RCWT with Admin permissions?

OK. We know it is not a compatibility problem.

Use the command "Run as administrator".to start RC-WinTrans.

It could be a "modify/access"-problem because the sample project are installed files in the RC-WinTrans installation folder ( C:\Program Files (x86)\RC-WinTrans\RC-WinTrans ...).

Please try to create a new translation project.
Location: Somewhere on your "working" space.
Command: "File" | "New" | "Translation Project.."

Is it possible to create a new project?
Then add a source file to the project. What is the result?

Started RC-WinTrans via "Run as administrator" - the same situation

I tried to open project from different disks and folders, but nothing changes.

I have limited licence:

Restrictions:
Cannot be used to create new translation projects.
Cannot be used to add or remove files from a translation project.

Before i updated my system from win 8.1 to win 10 RC-WinTrans works properly.

You should install RC-WinTrans newly. Deinstall RC-WinTrans first using the Windows "Remove Program".

The problem may that the MS database stuff (ADO) or the MS XML4 ist not properly available any more.
Both is used by RC-WinTrans and included in the setup of RC-WinTrans. This common Micrososft components will
be updated when installing RC-WinTrans newly -- I hope so.
