Hello, we are using RWTCmd.exe on our build server. Its called first with the flag /UpdateAll and on the second step with /WriteAllTargetFiles. Not from time to time the process hangs on the first command /UpdateAll and its blocking the build complete. If we are killing the process everything goes normal. It's a W7 build server running Jenkins as the integration tool. We are working with the latest 9.4 build of the tool. Thanks for helping. Reiner. edited by reiner on 16.07.2015

Hello Reiner,
A problem that /UpdateAll process "hangs" is still not known. The /Update (or (/UpdatAll) process is an intensive process which consumes/uses many resources (RAM, objects, COM objects, XML data. And time.).
Questions: Do you call /UpdateAll only once or also for other languages before using /WriteAllTargetFiles ? What type of files are in the project? .NET assemblies? How many files?

Hello, yes we are calling it one once. Right now we are having just only one foreign language. Just Japanese. We are having only .NET Assemblies. They are build by using the latest .NET version. There are four assemblies to translate. We removed also the flag '/keepalive' from the build process. We will see if that helps. I could send you the project if that helps. Regard Reiner.

Hello Reiner,
> We removed also the flag '/keepalive' from the build process > Yes. Please try this.
> I could send you the project if that helps. > It's a W7 build server running Jenkins as the integration tool. > We can try to reproduce it but our environment will be different to yours. You can send the project and the source assemblies to support@schaudin.com.
